Electro Techno Free Jazz #01110419, April 2019

My next Free Jazz / Electro Techno creature is 18' long piece with Deep Techno kick. I liked to add some motive and keep the whole story in some scale or tonality, or modal form.

There are some Be-Bop elements at the end, but they are accidental. I avoid any be-bop stuf and concentrate more on phrasing, storytelling and melody. And you know - that is not easy. Much easy is to close eyes and start to improvise untill "tape ends". Any idea adds rational frame, which I like to avoid.

And again: - oops, I forgot to make pauses! Were is my belovely silence? I don't need that solo on background, but dialog!

No Darkness Suite

Piece 'No Darkness Suite' is similar to a fantastic nocturne, but it sounds light and positive. It's hard to find a video for such music, so I got a film that I shot in 2022 during the Kyiv blackout - I just went out into the street, which was in complete darkness, you don't see that often. For the first time in my practice, I used the Ukrainian national instrument with 64 strings - the bandura. Why bandura? Because I have it (my son is learning to play on it) and I've been eyeing it for a long time. I hope you will not fall asleep and listen to the end. Дякую! Thanks!

Halfsteps 2. Diffused, sleepy and relaxed

I continue to make halfsteps ) and have posted a new video called Halfsteps 2 [Free Form Jazz Guitar]. It uses the same static footage (the same October crossroad), but now that is the movie with a people crossing street. I know that is amateurish, mobile video is not a Dolby TrueHD , but today that is the plus. Guitar tone is solid and round, melodical line is diffused, sleepy and relaxed. Compare with the first Halfsteps .

The adult man sees an absence of fallos women have. A -> A-1 Semantically: I see my projected inversion on another people.
